An apartment complex in North Georgia had two compactors on site that were on a 2x a week pickup schedule. This resulted in constant hauls, which were expensive and ineffective for the location. Their property manager wanted to optimize trash spend and tonnage, so they decided to install a DSQ Pioneer Compactor Monitor.

The Solution

As soon as the DSQ Pioneer Compactor Monitor was installed, it started learning from the compactor usage patterns. This allowed the property to go into “autopilot”. The predictive model allowed scheduled hauls to change to on-call ones scheduled for the day when the compactors were expected to reach target fullness.
