The DSQ Pioneer Compactor Monitor measures the amount of electricity drawn by the ram motor to continuously monitor fullness. Pioneer is unique because Pioneer is the only compactor monitor able to predict when a compactor will need to be hauled. Pioneer uses machine learning to predict when a compactor will need emptying and predictively self-schedules hauls without human-in-the-loop delays, which reduces spend on trash, decreases emissions, and eliminates manual oversight.
The DSQ Pioneer Compactor Monitor supports compactors with a capacity of 10 to 40 yards. DSQ Pioneer is releasing the ability to support compactors with integrated cart tippers in the second half of 2025.
Once a DSQ Pioneer Compactor Monitor is purchased, the monitor is shipped to a professional installer in your area. The installation date is determined by the installer’s availability, typically within two weeks of the monitor’s shipment. The actual installation takes only 20 minutes, requiring very minimal site disruption and usually zero downtime for production lines.
